Terms of Service

Last updated: 24 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of TheJournalAb (the “Service”), a trading journal provided by TheAbiodunAb, based in Lagos, Nigeria. The Service is available to users worldwide. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and TheJournalAb. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Together, these documents form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

2. The Service

TheJournalAb is a tool for logging, tracking, and reviewing your trades. It is provided for informational and self-improvement purposes only.

Not financial advice. TheJournalAb is a journaling tool, not a broker, financial advisor, or signal provider. Nothing in the Service is investment, financial, or trading advice. Trading carries significant risk of loss, and you are solely responsible for your own trading decisions.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

4. Your account

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

6. Plans and payments

The Service offers a Free plan and paid plans (such as Pro and Lifetime). Paid plans are billed through our payment processors. Prices and features may change, and we will give reasonable notice of material changes. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Your data and content

You own the trading data and content you put into the Service. You grant us permission to store and process it solely to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual property rights

The Service — including the TheJournalAb name, logo, branding, design, text, graphics, software, and all underlying code — is owned by TheAbiodunAb and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the Service as a personal or business trading journal, but you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of it without our written permission.

You keep full ownership of the trade data and content you enter. By using the Service, you grant us only the limited permission needed to store and process that content so we can provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Availability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We work to keep it running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may add, change, or remove features over time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TheJournalAb and TheAbiodunAb are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. The Service does not execute trades and is not responsible for outcomes of your trading.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows the latest version, and continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

13. International use and governing law

The Service is offered to users around the world. You are responsible for complying with the laws and regulations that apply to you in your own country or region, including any rules about online trading, financial tools, or data. The Service may not be appropriate or available in every location, and you use it on that basis.

These Terms, and any dispute arising from them, are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This choice of governing law sets the legal framework for the agreement; it does not remove any mandatory consumer or data-protection rights you may have under the laws of your own country, which continue to apply where required.
